Large Bronze Statue of Game Fish. Monumental 12 foot high bronze sculpture of blue marlin finished in a bluey grey patina. The motion of the marlin leaping out of the water has been beautifully captured by Brittish sculptor Gill Parker. Limited edition / 9

I made this sculpture in two sizes; 12 inches (30cms) and life-size – 12 foot (3.68 m) high. These beautiful, massive fish with their electric blue colouring are famously one of the ultimate game fish.
When I was asked to make this, I had to research them quite considerably. Watching them fighting the line for hours is both thrilling and sad. Seeing them hung as lifeless trophies seems a worthless end for such a magnificent creature. Thankfully most are now tagged and released.
