Growing up in rural Cambridgeshire, contemporary British sculptor and animalier Lucy Kinsella has had a desire to be with, observe and draw animals since her earliest memories so it is no surprise that, as a professional artist, she is international known as an animal sculptor.
Lucy describes herself as a figurative artist focused mainly on animals. Her aim is to express the gestures, personality, character and spirit of the animals she studies and some of her works are dynamic, interactive forms whilst others explore and convey the serenity or brooding presence of a still form.
Lucy enjoys a busy schedule of exhibitions in galleries and sculpture parks and her exhibitions are usually a sell-out. Her work is held in many collections around the world including UK, Ireland, Belgium, Sweden, Japan, China, United States, Channel Islands, France, South Africa, New Zealand and United Arab Emirates. Her studio is based in Leicestershire where she lives with her family and assorted animals.
It is a real pleasure to be able to welcome to the Artiere collection Lucy`s rapturous approach to nature and her skilful use of patination.
We are thrilled to bring Lucy Kinsella’s work to this part of the world.
